Welcome to the Pacific Northwest WMIG Coalition.

In 2019, a coalition was formed between Wilderness Medicine Interest Group leaders from each of the seven medical schools in our Pacific Northwest region: the University of Washington School of Medicine, Oregon Health & Science University, Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences, Western University of Health Sciences COMP-NW, Washington State University ESF College of Medicine, Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine and University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine.

The group seeks to use existing live-streaming and recording technology infrastructure to share wilderness medicine education opportunities throughout the region.
