nwmc3 avalanche leadership workshop presented by nwac

The core of this 4-5 hour course will be hands-on application of fundamental avalanche navigation, rescue skills, and initial patient management in the field. We will also discuss in depth trip planning and team leadership relating to avalanche terrain with an emphasis on risk assessment and stratification. Open exclusively to NWMC3 conference attendees, no minimum prior avalanche training required. Class size limited to 20 students. Designed and instructed by NWAC. Location will be in the Mount Hood area, close to MHKC.

Discounted Lift Tickets
Discounted ski area passes for conference-goers are now available! These must be purchased in advance and are limited to one (1) per registered conference attendee. To ensure delivery, online sales will end on 12/23/2018 at 11:59 PM PST.
Tickets will be available on arrival to NWMC3 and are valid on Sunday, January 6th, 2019.

Mt. Hood Meadows
We are pleased to offer 2 options for skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows ski area for Sunday, January 6th. Choose from a day pass for $45 or a night skiing pass valid from 3pm-close at the discounted price of $32.50 per ticket.
A minimum of fifteen (15) Meadows lift tickets must be purchased in total in order to take advantage of this deal. If we do not meet the minimum, you will be refunded.

Mt. Hood SkiBowl
Skibowl is right down the road as an alternative option for $32.50 night skiing, 3pm-close.
“Skibowl provides snow riders with some of the best terrain in the Mt. Hood National Forest, featuring 34 fully lit runs, 65 runs total and a vertical drop of 1,500 feet. With the most Black Diamond runs of any resort in state and two fully lit terrain parks, Skibowl draws accomplished snow riders as well as beginners and intermediate riders out for a great time.”
